Gabrielle Brown

Owner/Founder - Oak & Edge Disability Services & Founder of IgniteHER

I’m the founder of Oak & Edge and IgniteHER — two businesses focused on building environments and structures that support dignity, independence, and long-term wellbeing.

Oak & Edge is a Newcastle/Hunter Region based NDIS business specialising in disability-focused and accessible home modifications & support services. Our work centres on creating high-quality, functional spaces that genuinely improve how people live day to day. Our purpose is to create the safe space where even the smallest voice is heard.
IgniteHER is where my work expands into leadership, self-responsibility, and integration. I create calm, intentional spaces for women who are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware, yet know there’s a gap between what they understand and how they’re actually living.

Through in-person practice spaces and structured programs, I work with women who are ready to slow down, tell the truth about where they are, and begin making decisions from a place of internal authority rather than habit or expectation. This work isn’t about fixing or motivating, it’s about creating the conditions for clarity, self-trust, and sustainable change.

At the heart of IgniteHER is a simple belief: when women feel grounded, supported, and responsible for their own direction, everything else begins to align more naturally.

Across both businesses, I’m interested in the same core question: How do we create structures both physical and internal that support people to live with more agency, honesty, and self-trust?

I’m based in Newcastle and value grounded leadership, long-term thinking, and work that prioritises responsibility and quality over speed.
